so growing up in texas we didn't see a whole lot of snow....i have gotten used to it most of the time but when we get most of the season's snow in March and April it just amazes me! there was a blizzard a few weeks ago where we FINALLY got to leave work early! (it's kind of a joke...when it snows my question to russ is..."do you think we have to go to work tomorrow??" and of course his answer is with a chuckle and a smile "no lauren, you aren't in texas")
yesterday (friday) it was threatening snow 10-20" and of course everyone was like yeah right...but they were right! we have about 15"! so russ stopped at our favorite the red box to get a few movies (we watched seven pounds...really good and sad movie) and he made chili and i made banana bread (not to eat together). it was a wonderful friday night! i'm always so thankful to have a night in with my hubby and our little dog :)
