mom and dad came to visit!!!

my mom and dad came to visit! they hadn't been here since last year and had not seen our house and all the changes that were made...they saw it when you had to have a vision last august 2008 at our wedding. i remember my mom making the comment to me..."you must really love him" (that's how awful the house was!) hahaha

they flew in on wednesday night...thursday they got to come with russ and i to our ultrasound...it was an exciting one (post to follow!)...after that exciting day we did some shopping! for either pink or blue :)

we just had a wonderful weekend of hanging around the house (russ and dad working on some projects we needed help with) and cooking dinners. we had a couple seasons while they were here...beautiful fall weather which allowed us to take some walks and then it snowed a little too!

they left yesterday (tuesday morning)...i of course was sad but it's always good to know when i will see them next! christmas will be here before we know it.

i love my parents so much...they are such an inspiration to me and i hope russ and i can be parents to our son or daughter like they have been to me (and now are to russ). i had so much fun with you mom and dad! it was fun having you here while making memories! i love you!
