first doctor's appointment!

we had our first doctor's appointment on august 19th....russ came with me and we got to see our first sonogram....the baby had a heartbeat of 173! the doctor said everything looked great and that our due date would be march 25, 2010!

my second appointment was on september 16th....russ didn't come with me because it was just a check up but i ended up having a sonogram. (their equipment is a little old - technology wise) and she was trying to find the heartbeat with what looks like a walkie talkie with a cord but couldn't find it....so i had another sonogram so that she could see the heartbeat....it was there!! she said everything looked great and the hearbeat had slowed down to 161 this time.

this week our baby is the size of a lemon...he/she can squint, frown, grimace, pee, and possibly suck his thumb.
