on august 12th i flew out to emilie and gabe's....i had booked the trip a while back when i was overwhelmed with the house....i found a good price ticket and i booked it right away! i had already told my parents i wasn't coming so i decided to keep it a secret....hillary was leaving for college and i wanted to go home one last time before....then we found out we were having a baby and it was perfect timing to go home. russ then decided he had to be home for the once in a lifetime news to tell the in-laws....so he came on thursday.
i stayed at emilie's on wednesday and then we drove down to georgetown on thursday (picked russ up from the airport) and then went to my parents...mom had NO CLUE!!!!
we walked in the back door and she was so excited and shocked! it was SOOO much fun! hillary was at the store and dad was on his way home....we got to surprise them too....it was a success!
russ and i had made a video of our house and in the video we tell them the news in the green room....here are their faces with the news! (emilie was in on it and she was the photographer)
